About Solabia

Solabia is a French group, founded in 1972, that develops and produces biotech ingredients and diagnostic solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical and biotechnology sectors. In 2026 it took over Seqens' in-vitro diagnostics business at the Limoges plant, where the bovine serum albumin intended for laboratory use is produced: the BSA in the catalogue is the same product, only the manufacturer's name has changed. On the Italian market CABRU handles only the BSA line of this brand: the group's other activities are not part of the representation.

What protease free fraction V BSA is

Fraction V refers to the historical serum fractionation method the albumin comes from: it is the designation under which the reagent entered laboratory practice and under which protocols still call for it.
